What is the Fresenius multiFiltratePRO?
The Fresenius multiFiltratePRO is an intensive care system for continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) in critically ill patients with acute kidney injury. It offers CVVH, CVVHD and CVVHDF with built-in Ci-Ca regional citrate anticoagulation, and also runs therapeutic plasma exchange, so one machine covers most ICU blood purification needs.

How CRRT runs on the multiFiltratePRO
- Load the cassette kit and fluid bags; the system primes automatically.
- Choose the therapy, for example Ci-Ca CVVHD, and set blood, dialysate or substitution flows and fluid removal.
- Run continuous therapy with bag changes, for up to the 72-hour filter lifetime.
- Return the blood and end the treatment or change the kit.
