Two specialists checking first-run results beside a laboratory analyzer

Installation and commissioning

Milap engineers check your site, set up the equipment, calibrate it, connect it to your LIS or HIS and verify the first runs, so it is ready for patients from day one.

What is installation and commissioning?

Installation is the physical set-up of the equipment at your site. Commissioning is the set of checks that proves it works correctly there: calibration, quality control, connection to your information system and a verified first run. Milap International does both with its own engineers for every system it supplies in Karnataka.

Blood gas analyzers are typically running within 24 to 48 hours of delivery; larger systems depend on site readiness.

What is included

Site check

We confirm space, power, earthing, water, drainage, temperature and network points before delivery.

Set-up

Unpacking, assembly and placement by trained engineers.

Calibration and QC

The system is calibrated and controls are run to confirm performance.

LIS/HIS connection

Interfacing so results reach your lab or hospital system automatically.

First-run verification

The first samples are run with your team watching.

Handover

An installation report and a walk-through of daily use and care.

Site requirements differ by model; we share the manufacturer’s site-preparation checklist with your quote.

Getting your site ready

Most delays in commissioning come from the site, not the equipment. Before delivery we send a checklist covering the bench or floor space, power sockets and earthing, water and drainage, air-conditioning and network points the model needs.

If something is missing we tell you early, so the engineer’s visit ends with a working system rather than a list of pending items.

Frequently asked questions

Milap’s own trained engineers install and commission every system we supply.

It depends on the model and on site readiness. Blood gas analyzers are typically running within 24 to 48 hours of delivery; larger analyzers and dialysis systems take longer.

Space, power and earthing, and for some models water, drainage, air-conditioning and a network point. We send a checklist for your model.

Yes. LIS/HIS interfacing is part of commissioning for analyzers that support it.

Yes. Installation is followed by application training for your users.

This depends on the equipment and the order. Your quotation states what is included.

Planning a new installation?

Tell us the equipment and your site, and we will send a quotation and the site-preparation checklist.
