This policy explains what personal data we collect through milapinternational.in, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We follow the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its Rules.
1. Who is responsible for your data

2. What we collect
- Details you give us: your name, organisation (hospital, laboratory or clinic), role, email, phone number, city, the products or services you ask about, and your message. You give these when you request a quote, a demo, a service visit or a callback, or when you write to us.
- Equipment details for service requests: model, serial number, location and a description of the fault. Please do not send patient information through our website. If a fault report needs a screenshot, remove patient names and IDs first.
- Messages through WhatsApp, phone or email: what you send us when you choose to contact us on these channels.
- Job applications: your CV and the details you send through our careers form. We use them only to consider you for roles at Milap and keep them for 12 months, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Usage data (only if you accept analytics cookies): pages viewed, time on page, device and browser type, approximate location (city level), and how you reached our site. See our Cookie Policy.
- Security data: IP address and request details, logged by our firewall to protect the site from attacks.
We do not knowingly collect data from children. Our website is meant for healthcare professionals and businesses.

Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console
We use two Google tools to understand how the website performs.
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4): runs only after you accept analytics cookies. It records pages viewed, time on page, device and browser type, city-level location and how you reached the site. GA4 does not store your IP address, and we do not send names, emails or phone numbers to it. We have not linked it to Google Ads or AdSense, and we do not use it for advertising or remarketing.
- Google Search Console: shows us which Google searches lead people to our pages and how often those pages appear in results. The figures are totals. It sets no cookies on your device and tells us nothing about individual visitors.
Google processes this data for us and may store it on servers outside India. You can refuse analytics in Cookie settings, or block Google Analytics on every website with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Google explains its own practices in the Google Privacy Policy.
4. Who we share it with
- The manufacturer whose product you ask about (for example, a brand we represent in Karnataka), but only when it is needed to answer you, such as for a technical query, warranty or tender support. We will tell you before we do this.
- Service providers working for us: website hosting (Hostinger), our business email provider, website analytics (Google Analytics 4, through Google Site Kit, and Jetpack by Automattic), and website security (Wordfence). They may only use your data to provide their service to us.
- Government bodies or courts, when the law requires it.
Some of these providers store data outside India. We only use providers with appropriate safeguards, and follow any transfer restrictions the Government of India notifies.
5. How long we keep it
| Data | Kept for |
|---|---|
| Enquiries that do not lead to an order | 24 months from our last contact |
| Customer, order and service records | As long as the equipment is under supply, warranty, AMC or CMC, then 8 years for tax and legal records |
| Marketing preferences | Until you opt out |
| Analytics data | Up to 14 months |
| Security logs | 12 months |
After that we delete the data or remove anything that identifies you.
6. How we protect it
We use an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, a website firewall, access limited to staff who need the data, strong passwords with two-step login for admin accounts, and regular updates and backups. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
7. Your rights
You can:
- ask what personal data we hold about you and who we have shared it with;
- ask us to correct, complete or update it;
- ask us to delete it, unless we must keep it by law;
- withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it (this does not affect what we did before);
- name another person to exercise these rights for you if you die or are unable to; and
- complain to our Grievance Officer, and then to the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied.
To use any of these rights, email info@milapinternational.in or write to the address above. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We will reply within 30 days, and in any case within the time the law allows.
