How a dialysis session runs on the 4008S NG
- Set up and prime the bloodlines and dialyser while the machine runs its self-test.
- Enter the prescription: ultrafiltration goal, treatment time, dialysate flow and temperature.
- Connect the patient; blood flows through the dialyser while OCM tracks clearance and the machine monitors pressures.
- Return the blood, disconnect the patient and run the disinfection programme.
