Sysmex XN-330 haematology analyser

Sysmex XN-330 automated haematology analyzer

An entry-level Sysmex analyzer that brings XN-Series technology and a 6-part white cell differential to smaller labs. Milap International supplies, installs and services the XN-330 as an authorised Sysmex partner.

  • 6-part differential including immature granulocytes (IG)
  • Up to 60 samples/hour in whole blood mode
  • Open-tube sampling with colour touchscreen
  • 25 µL whole blood sample volume

What is the Sysmex XN-330?

The Sysmex XN-330 is a compact benchtop haematology analyzer from the XN-L series. It gives a complete blood count (CBC) with a 6-part white cell differential, including an immature granulocyte (IG) count, using the same fluorescent flow cytometry as larger Sysmex XN analyzers. It uses manual open-tube sampling and suits small labs, clinics and nursing homes that want a full differential without a large analyzer.

Key features

6-part differential with IG

Neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils and basophils plus an immature granulocyte count, with no extra reagents.

XN-Series technology

Fluorescent flow cytometry for white cells and impedance with hydrodynamic focusing for red cells and platelets.

Cyanide-free haemoglobin

Haemoglobin is measured with a cyanide-free SLS method.

Small footprint

A compact benchtop design that fits small lab benches.

Touchscreen software

An integrated colour touchscreen with the same intuitive XN software used across the range.

Micro-sample friendly

Works with standard tubes and micro-collection tubes, with a pre-dilute mode for small samples.

How a CBC runs on the XN-330

  1. Collect the blood sample in an EDTA tube; standard and micro-collection tubes are supported.
  2. Open the tube and present it to the sample probe, which aspirates 25 µL of whole blood.
  3. The analyzer counts red cells and platelets by impedance, measures haemoglobin with a cyanide-free method and separates white cells by fluorescent flow cytometry.
  4. Results, flags and scattergrams appear on the touchscreen within about a minute and can be sent to your LIS.

Who is the XN-330 for?

The XN-330 suits small hospital labs, clinics, nursing homes and collection centres that run a modest number of CBCs each day. Labs moving up from a 3-part analyzer get a fuller differential and an IG count, using the same technology, reagents and controls as larger Sysmex XN analyzers.
