Sysmex XN-1000 haematology analyser

Sysmex XN-1000 automated haematology analyzer

A high-throughput Sysmex analyzer with NRBC and a 6-part differential on every CBC, reticulocyte analysis and optional fluorescent platelet and body fluid modes. Milap International supplies, installs and services the XN-1000 as an authorised Sysmex partner.

  • Up to 100 samples/hour CBC + differential
  • NRBC on every CBC with a 6-part differential
  • Reticulocytes included RET, IRF and RET-He
  • Configurable PLT-F, body fluid and WPC options

What is the Sysmex XN-1000?

The Sysmex XN-1000 is a single-module, high-throughput haematology analyzer from the XN-Series. It runs a complete blood count with nucleated red cells (NRBC) and a 6-part white cell differential on every sample, plus reticulocyte analysis, at up to 100 samples per hour. Optional fluorescent platelet (PLT-F), body fluid and WPC channels make it suited to large hospital and reference labs.

Key features

NRBC on every CBC

Nucleated red cells are counted on every sample, so the WBC count needs no manual correction.

6-part differential with IG

An immature granulocyte count with every automated differential helps reduce manual slide reviews.

Reticulocyte analysis

Reports RET#, RET%, immature reticulocyte fraction (IRF) and reticulocyte haemoglobin (RET-He).

Fluorescent platelet option

PLT-F uses a platelet-specific stain to reduce interference from red and white cell fragments.

Body fluid and low WBC modes

Counts cells in body fluids and extends counting for samples with very low white cells.

Automation options

Configurations with automated rerun and reflex testing and the WPC channel for flagging abnormal lymphocytes and blasts.

How a CBC runs on the XN-1000

  1. Collect blood in EDTA tubes and load them in racks on the automated sampler.
  2. The analyzer mixes each tube and aspirates 88 µL of whole blood.
  3. Dedicated fluorescent flow cytometry channels measure the CBC, differential, NRBC and reticulocytes.
  4. Results and flags go to the IPU and your LIS; onboard rules can reflex samples to PLT-F, low WBC or other tests on configured models.

Who is the XN-1000 for?

The XN-1000 suits large hospital labs, reference labs and busy diagnostic chains that process hundreds of CBCs a day and want fewer manual reviews. Its configurable channels let a lab add fluorescent platelet counts, body fluid analysis or automated reflex testing as its needs grow.

Frequently asked questions

Up to 100 CBC and differential samples per hour, and up to 40 per hour in body fluid mode.

Yes. NRBC is counted on every CBC, so the white cell count needs no manual correction.

PLT-F is an optional fluorescent platelet count that uses a platelet-specific stain to give accurate counts in samples with interference, such as very low platelets.

The XN-550 is a compact XN-L analyzer for up to 60 samples per hour. The XN-1000 runs up to 100 samples per hour and adds NRBC, reticulocytes and optional PLT-F, body fluid and WPC channels.

It aspirates 88 µL in whole blood mode and 70 µL in pre-dilute mode.

Yes. Milap engineers install and commission the analyzer, train your staff, supply genuine reagents and controls, and offer preventive maintenance, AMC or CMC with breakdown support from Bengaluru.

Milap International, based in Bengaluru, is an authorised channel partner and supplies the Sysmex XN-1000 automated haematology analyzer to hospitals, laboratories and clinics across Karnataka, with installation, training and service from the same team.
