What is the Flowcath hemodialysis catheter?
The Flowcath hemodialysis catheter is a polyurethane catheter placed in a large vein to give blood access for hemodialysis. It has a soft, geometrically designed conical tip for easier insertion, and clear silicone lumen extensions so the team can see the blood path. Each kit includes the catheter, a dilator, a guidewire, a No. 11 thumb blade, an 18G introducer needle and a syringe.
