What is a transducer protector?
A transducer protector is a small filter placed between the pressure monitoring line of the blood lines and the pressure port on the dialysis machine. It acts as a protective barrier so pressure can be monitored while the machine’s transducer stays protected. The Flowcath ATP-01 has a 0.2 µm pore size and a ridged finger grip.
