The Fujifilm DRI-CHEM NX600 is an automated dry chemistry analyzer that runs tests on ready-made reagent slides. It handles one sample at a time, measures 28 colorimetric tests plus sodium, potassium and chloride, and its built-in plasma filter separates whole blood in about a minute, so clinics and emergency rooms get chemistry results without preparing liquid reagents.

How a test runs on the NX600
- Set the slides and the sample tube; whole blood can go through the plasma filter.
- Press Start.
- The analyzer spots the sample, incubates and reads each slide automatically.
- Used slides are discarded automatically and results print or go to the LIS.
