How to measure blood pressure correctly
- Rest seated for about 5 minutes; avoid caffeine, smoking and exercise for 30 minutes before.
- Sit with your back supported and feet flat, with your arm resting on a table at heart level.
- Wrap the cuff on the bare upper arm, about 1–2 cm above the elbow, using the cuff wrapping guide.
- Press START and stay still and silent; measure at the same times each day and record or sync the results.
