What is the Atellica Solution?
The Atellica Solution is a modular platform that puts immunoassay and clinical chemistry together for high-volume hospital and reference laboratories. It offers a menu of more than 210 assays and routes every sample automatically to the module that needs it.
Built from modules
A laboratory chooses the modules it needs and arranges them to fit the room.
- Layout: up to 10 components in a straight line, an L or a U shape, with more than 300 possible configurations.
- Capacity: up to six chemistry modules or four immunoassay modules.
- Growth: connects to Aptio Automation for total laboratory automation.
How samples move
The Atellica Magline Transport carries each tube on its own, in both directions and at variable speed. An urgent sample does not wait behind a rack of routine ones.
- Loading: up to 60 samples at once.
- Sample Handler: holds 440 samples and moves up to 500 tubes an hour.
- Turnaround: several critical assays report in under 10 minutes.
Throughput by module
- Atellica CH 930: up to 1,800 tests an hour (1,200 photometric and 600 electrolyte).
- Atellica IM 1300: up to 220 immunoassay tests an hour.
- Atellica IM 1600: up to 440 immunoassay tests an hour.
Walkaway time is up to 5 hours on the CH 930 and up to 7.5 hours on the IM 1300. Electrolytes use Integrated Multi Sensor Technology, which is maintenance-free and calibrates automatically.
